Delta County:          Delta County Law Enforcement Millage Renewal Proposal

For the purpose of continuing county-wide Road Patrol and Emergency Search

and Rescue Operations by the Delta County Sheriff Department, shall the

limitation on the amount of taxes which may be assessed against all property

in the County of Delta, Michigan, be renewed by the amount of nine tenths (0.9)

of a mil (90 cents on each $1,000.00) on the taxable valuation, for a period of ten

years, 2010 to 2019 inclusive?

The estimated revenue generated from the 0.9 mil that will be collected in the

first year that the millage is authorized and levied will be $1,046,158.00.

 

City of Escanaba:      Power Plant Proposal

Shall the Escanaba City Council have the authority to sell, lease, and/or dispose

of the electric utility plant, equipment, and assets including up to 40 acres of real

property where said assets are located?

 

Bay de Noc Township:    Road Maintenance Millage Proposal

Shall the tax limitation on the general ad valorem taxes within Bay de Noc

Township, Delta County, imposed under Section 6 of Article IX of the

Constitution of the State of Michigan, be increased by 2 mills ($2 for each

$1,000 of taxable value) for a period of 5 years from 2010 to 2014, inclusive,

to be used solely for improvements on township roads and the required

maintenance of the Bay de Noc Township Hall parking lot?

The revenue generated from the 2 mills that will be collected in the first year

that the millage is authorized and levied will be $43,940.00.
