ROLL CALL

PRESENT: Commissioners Bengry, Elegeert, Rivard, Ruohomaki and Schultz.

EXCUSED: None.

The meeting was called to order at 9:12 a.m. in the Probate Courtroom of the Delta County Courthouse by Chairman Elegeert.

VII. NEW BUSINESS

1. Prosecutor’s Request.

Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to recommend approval of the non-union paralegal position in the Prosecutor’s office with a salary of $36,000 with Defined Contribution and Health Savings Account or $250 payment in lieu of benefits. MOTION CARRIED.

Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to recommend the Defined Contribution benefit as 8% County contribution with up to a 4% County match. MOTION CARRIED.

Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to recommend a County policy that any new hired elected and non-union employees receive Defined Contribution and Health Savings Account benefits. MOTION CARRIED.

CUPPAD Presentation.

Lloyd Mathes, Executive Director, and Steve Lenaker, GIS Specialist, gave a GPS mapping presentation.

Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to adjourn at 10:52 a.m.
