Health Code.
Barb
Chenier, Director Delta-Menominee Health Department, Ad Committee held two
session in Delta County and two sessions in Menominee County, next week
sessions will be held at the county township associations, then sessions for
the public, comments will be reviewed, after final draft, public hearings will
be held. Moved by Commissioner Bengry
and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to accept the Director’s report. MOTION CARRIED.
B. NEW BUSINESS
1. Payment of Bills.
None.

Resolution of Intent for Establishing a Brownfield Authority.
Moved by Commissioner Rivard and seconded by
Commissioner Schultz to set the number of members on the Brownfield
Redevelopment Authority at five. MOTION
CARRIED.

County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority Resolution, as presented.

attend to the Grant Workshop in

attend the EPA Brownfield Conference in

for the grant activities:
1. Solicit Requests for Qualifications

Resolution Authorizing Investment of County Funds Approving County Investment Policy
requiring the Treasurer to provide quarterly investment reports to the

Airport Issues.
Connie Ness, Airport Manager, presented the
Ad Hoc Committee recommendations to the Board.
$28,300 shortage in this year’s budget. Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by
Commissioner Bengry to receive the recommendations and take into
consideration. MOTION CARRIED. Bengry opposed.
XI. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Barb Chenier, Director Delta-Menominee Health
Department, this week celebrating Public Health Awareness – Climate Change Our
Health is in the Balance, open house in conjunction with the American Red Cross
and the
Mike
Larrabee, Chairman Road Commission, let the Airport Manager manage.
XII. COMMISSIONERS CONCERNS
Commissioners Bengry: Sent a card thanking Diane Matthews for her
service to the County.
Commissioner Rivard: None.
Commissioner Ruohomaki: Share Com. Rivard’s frustration with the
accounting problems between the Airport and the County. Meet with our auditor
to get straightened out.
Commissioner Schultz: Need to give direction to the Airport and
Parks as to what the Board is expecting.
Need to resolve issues before us now. How does the Board want to address their
responsibilities in these issues. Moved
by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve
Commissioner Elegeert: None.
