ROLL CALL

PRESENT: Commissioners Bengry, Rivard, Ruohomaki.

ABSENT: Commissioners Elegeert and Schultz.

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room State Office Building by County Clerk Kolich.

VII. NEW BUSINESS

1. Special Conference with ASFCME re: MERS Retirement.

Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to recommend that the Board have contact with MERS as soon as possible, directly or by teleconference, with both sides present, as to what the Board can or cannot do with respect to current employees “in lieu of” benefits for MERS retirement. MOTION CARRIED.

VIII. ADJOURNMENT

Moved by Commissioner Rivard and supported by Commissioner Ruohomaki to adjourn at 3:05 p.m.
