and Reports of Standing and Statutory Committees and the Reports of Special
Committees and Others be received and placed on file. MOTION CARRIED.

Report.

Aviation Day.
Airport
Manager, Connie Ness, gave a presentation on the first Airport Aviation
Day. Had profits of $1,700 to be put
into Marketing budget.
Moved
by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Rivard
to move the August 21st meeting to August 28th so that
the Board members to attend the Michigan Association of Counties Conference. MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to
receive the Administrator’s report and place on file. MOTION CARRIED.

1. Payment of Bills.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Rivard to approve payment of the
bills in the amount of $ 964,692.30.
MOTION CARRIED.

Approval of Cooperative Reimbursement Contract.
Moved
by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve the
Cooperative Reimbursement Contract for the Friend of the Court, as presented. MOTION CARRIED.
3.
Public Property Sales of Tax Reverted Lands.
Informational,
Administrator will follow up.
4. Rory Mattson re:
Rory
Mattson, Delta County Conservation District, addressed the Board with his
concerns regarding the Delta Menominee Health Department.
5.
Agenda Procedure for Committee of the Whole Meeting.
Moved
by Commissioner Ruohomaki and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to adopt the
Committee of the Whole meeting procedures as presented by Commissioner Ruohomaki. MOTION CARRIED.
6. Request to continue the Register
of Deeds Project.
Moved
by Commissioner Rivard and seconded by Commissioner Schultz
to approve continuing the Register of Deeds computer project through

Commissioner Bengry re: Personnel Issues.
Moved
by Commissioner Ruohomaki and seconded by Commissioner Rivard
to refer this issue to the Personnel Committee.

United Way Week Proclamation.
Moved
by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to proclaim
XII. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Bob Zinn addressed his concerns with the Delta
Menominee Health Department.
XIII. COMMISSIONERS
CONCERNS
Commissioners
Rivard: None.
Commissioner Ruohomaki: Concerns expressed by
Rory Mattson are concerns he also has with the Health Department.
Commissioner Bengry: Requested
a copy of document dealing with Duane Buckland retirement for the Bucklands.
Commissioner
Schultz: None.
Commissioner Elegeert: Concurs with the concerns with the Health
Department. Would like Environmental Health and the Building and
Zoning Departments to be in the same location for the convenience of the
public. Moved by Commissioner
Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to put
the Superior Code be put on the agenda for the August 28th meeting.
