by Commissioner Bengry that the Communications and Reports of Standing and
Statutory Committees and the Reports of Special Committees and Others be
received and placed on file. MOTION

PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS
Rory Mattson, Executive Director Delta County
Conservation District, addressed the Board regarding the Superior Environment
Health Code articles appearing in the newspaper – the issue is the service and
the process not the environment.
Diane
Matthews, Delta-Menominee County Environmental Health, would like to
participate in the evaluation of the Superior Code.

Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to receive the Administrator’s report and place on
file. MOTION CARRIED.

1. Payment of Bills.
Moved by Commissioner Rivard
and seconded by Commissioner Schultz to approve payment of the bills in the
amount of $ 1,063,001.84. MOTION
CARRIED.

Superior Health Code.
Moved by Commissioner Rivard
and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to appoint a Technical Committee
consisting of Dennis Bittner, Dave Holmgren, Diane
Matthews, Jerry “Pug” Ducette, Bob Zinn, Tom Carviou, Commissioner Schultz and Commissioner
Elegeert to evaluate the Superior Code. MOTION CARRIED.

Hannahville 2% Grant Applications.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve the request for a Hannahville 2% Grant
application for UPCAP for Juvenile Restorative Justice Program. MOTION CARRIED.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve the request for a Hannahville 2% Grant
application for UPCAP Peace Making for Kids Program. MOTION CARRIED.
4. Lawsuit Final Resolution.
No action was taken.
5.
Resolution to apply for Brownfield Grants.
Moved by Commissioner Rivard
and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to adopt a resolution giving permission to Commissioner
Rivard and Administrator Erickson to work with Flo McCormick from MAC to apply for Brownfield grants on
the behalf of Delta County for funding for clean up of several areas. MOTION CARRIED.

Commissioner Ruohomaki: Bengston
lawsuit settlement finalized and the Board will be taking no additional action.
Commissioner Bengry: Blaming
the messenger, messenger had nothing to do with what is going on, in future
blame the code and not the messenger.
Commissioner
Schultz: None.
Commissioner Elegeert: None.
