by Commissioner Bengry to approve using the Circuit Courtroom for a event in honor of Pearl Harbor Day on

by Commissioner Bengry to approve a Resolution approving a Specialized Services
Operating Assistance Program Agreement No. 2007-0200 Z2 for FY 2008 with MDOT. MOTION CARRIED.

Set Tax Millage.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Bengry adopt Option 4: to set the Delta County Tax Millage at 7.3369 mills, returning the millage
rate to the maximum allowable rate with the amount due from the Convention
Facility and Cigarette Tax revenues to be divided according to the required
formulas. MOTION CARRIED.
5. 2007 Apportionment Report.
Moved by Commissioner Rivard
and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to adopt the 2007 Apportionment Report as
presented by Equalization Director Rick Lindstrom. MOTION CARRIED.

Commissioner Schultz to approve the West-Central UP Community Corrections
Program Grant Application as presented.

XII. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Rory Mattson, Director Delta
County Conservation District, thanked the Board for the budget appropriations
to the Conservation District.
XIII. COMMISSIONERS
CONCERNS
Commissioners Rivard: Moved by Commissioner Rivard
and seconded by Commissioner Schultz to send a resolution in support of 911 funds
going to the County and not the State, to Rep. Casperson. MOTION CARRIED.
Commissioner Ruohomaki: Commissioner Elegeert
read a statement from Commissioner Ruohomaki stating his concerns regarding
evaluations for elected officials and department heads.
Commissioner Bengry: None.
Commissioner Schultz: Stated his concerns
regarding the press article regarding elected official and department head
raises.
Commissioner Elegeert: None.
