DELTA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING

     A Finance Committee of the Whole meeting of the Delta County Board of Commissioners was held this date, pursuant to the following call:

     A Finance Committee of the Whole Meeting of the Delta County Board of Commissioners is scheduled for November 13, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. in Conference Room of the State Office Building.

ROLL CALL

PRESENT:  Commissioners Bengry, Rivard, and Schultz

EXCUSED:  Commissioners Elegeert and Ruohomaki.

          The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the State Office Building by Finance Chairman Schultz.

 

     Moved by Commissioner Bengry and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to add item 4. UPPCO Easement to the agenda. MOTION CARRIED.

 

              

VI. NEW BUSINESS

     1.  District Court Issue.

     Moved by Commissioner Bengry and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to recommend communication between Administration and District for approval of transfer of funds.  MOTION FAILED.

 

     2.  Public Health Maintenance of Effort.

     Recommend refer to Administrator to meet with each Commissioner before next Board meeting.

 

 

 

     3.  Evaluation Procedure.

     Moved by Commissioner Bengry and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to recommend table until the full Board to make decision.  Administrator Erickson mutually agreed to extend the deadline as necessary.  MOTION CARRIED.

 

     4.  UPPCO Easement at Pioneer Trail Park.

     Moved by Commissioner Bengry and seconded by Commissioner Rivard to recommend approval of an easement with UPPCO at Pioneer Trail Park, as presented, due to MDOT reconstruction of the Escanaba River Bridge.  MOTION CARRIED.

         

VII.  MEETING SCHEDULE

      Tuesday November 20, 2007 at 5:15 p.m. in the Circuit Courtroom.

 

VIII. ADJOURNMENT

 

      Moved by Commissioner Rivard and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to adjourn at 3:27 p.m.
