minutes to item 3. MOTION CARRIED. Moved

IX. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS
Irene Lundberg, Delta-Menominee Public Health Department, addressed the
Board with the Health Department’s concerns with

appropriation to the Delta-Menominee Public Health Department by $20,740 to
meet the minimum Maintenance of Effort of $216,240 required by the State. MOTION CARRIED.
X. COMMITTEE
REPORTS:
1. Administrator’s
Report.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to
send letters thanking Matt Johnson and Mark Feldhauser
for their assistance in the Ren Zone mitigation. MOTION CARRIED.

to receive the Administrator’s report and place on file. MOTION CARRIED.

Payment of Bills.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Rivard to approve payment of the
bills in the amount of $ 720,323.55.

2. Request to Purchase truck for
Sheriff’s Dept.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve purchasing a truck with cap for the
Sheriff’s department for transporting equipment for the low bid of $32,090 to
be purchased with 2% monies from Hannahville ($19,000) and the Sault Tribe
paying the remainder. MOTION CARRIED.
3. Request for sick leave donation.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded
by Commissioner Bengry to approve the request for sick leave donation as
presented, non-precedent setting.
MOTION CARRIED.

GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Connie Ness, Airport Manager,
gave an update on the Essential Air Service bids, received 2 bids: 1. Big Sky

CONCERNS
Commissioners Rivard: Moved by Commissioner Rivard
and seconded by Commissioner Schultz to send Budget Line Item Fund Transfer
Policy to Personnel Committee to review policy and make
recommendation. MOTION CARRIED. Board received response from Rep. Lahti
regarding Marquette Crime Lab. Happy
Thanksgiving.
Commissioner Ruohomaki: Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and seconded
by Commissioner Rivard to hold Committee of the Whole
meeting on November 27th. MOTION
CARRIED.
Commissioner Bengry: 1. Evaluation of Administrator: Choose form,
evaluation open or closed, evaluation.
2. Administration and District Court conflict, contact State Court
Administrator’s office.
Commissioner Schultz: Clarification on
Committee of the Whole regarding District Court and State Court Administrator.
Commissioner Elegeert: None.
