     A Regular Meeting of the Delta County Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Tuesday April 18, 2006, at 5:15 p.m. in the Circuit Courtroom of the Delta County Courthouse.

ROLL CALL

PRESENT:   Commissioners Bengry, Elegeert, Nelson, Ruohomaki, Schultz.

 

EXCUSED:  None.

          The meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. in the Delta County Probate Courtroom by Delta County Clerk, Nancy J. Kolich.

              

   V.  APPROVAL OF BOARD MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING     

       Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and supported by Commissioner Schultz to approve the minutes of the April 11, 2006 meeting with the correction.  MOTION CARRIED.

           

   VI.  PRESENTATATION OF WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS

        A.  Received:  No written communications were received.       

        B.  Forwarded: No written communications were forwarded.

                                                   

VIII. PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS

      None.

 

X.   COMMITTEE REPORTS:

1. Building and Grounds Committee.

   V.1.  Carpet Quotes

 

     3.  Letter from Pathways.

 

     4.  Quote from Green Lawn.

     Moved by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Bengry to approve the quotes from Green Lawn Liquid Fertilizing, Inc. for $330.60 for the Courthouse and $988.00 for the Service Center.  MOTION CARRIED.

 

     5.  Quote from Nursery.

     Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and supported by Commissioner Schultz to approve the quote from The Grounds Nursery for $2,075 for the Courthouse, $$3,135 for the Service Center, and $621 for the Michigan Works Building.  MOTION CARRIED.

 

     6.  Commercial Building Inspector/Mold.

     Moved by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve payment to Pearson Abatement for removal of mold from the Service Center.  MOTION CARRIED.

 

     3.  Drywall Repair.

     Moved by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve payment to DeGrave Construction for replacement of drywall due to mold removal at the Service Center.  MOTION CARRIED.

 

2.   Finance Committee.

4.   Administrator’s Report.     

        Moved by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Schultz to receive the Administrator’s report and place on file.  MOTION CARRIED.

1.  Payment of Bills.

              None.

    

          2.  Contract Amendment #3 with URS.

          Moved by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to approve Contract Amendment #3 with URS.  MOTION CARRIED.
