Community Corrections Lease.
Moved by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Schultz to
approve renewal of the lease with UPCAP Services for Community Corrections and
authorize the Chairman to sign. MOTION

Administrator’s Report and place on file.

1. Payment of Bills.
Moved by Commissioner Nelson and
seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to table until the October 11th
meeting. MOTION CARRIED.
2. Adoption
of National Incident Management System.
Moved by Commissioner Ruohomaki and
seconded by Commissioner Schultz to approve the Resolution adopting the National
Incident Management System as presented.
MOTION CARRIED.
3. MDOT
Program Authorization.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz
and seconded by Commissioner Nelson to adopt the resolution authorizing the
Chairman’s signature authorizing the 2006 MDOT’s Specialized Services Operating
Assistance Program with the Community Action Agency. MOTION CARRIED.
4.
MERS Enhancement Resolution.
Moved by Commissioner Schultz and
seconded by Commissioner Nelson to send to the Finance Committee to review the
MERS benefits. MOTION CARRIED.
5. Request from

building permit fee for
6. Request to waive building permit and
plan review fee for Little League.
Moved by Commissioner Nelson and
seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to waive the building permit and plan review

adopt the Resolution opposing HB 5124.

by Commissioner Schultz and seconded by Commissioner Ruohomaki to adopt the
resolution opposing moving Remonumentation Funds to the State’s General Fund. MOTION CARRIED.

Appointments to Various Boards.
Moved by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by
Commissioner Schultz to re-appoint Leona St. Vincent to the Department of Human
Services Board and Lorraine Curran as the Democratic appointment to the
Election Board of Canvassers. MOTION
CARRIED.
XI. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Gregory Frens addressed the Board with his
concerns with the Environmental Health Department.
Bob Zinn addressed the Board with his
concerns with the Environmental Health Department.

COMMISSIONER’S CONCERNS
Commissioner Elegeert stated his concerns with the Environmental Health
Department.
Commissioner Ruohomaki wished
Commissioner Bengry a speedy recovery.
Commissioner Schultz stated his concerns with the amount of the 911
millage.
