A Committee of the Whole Meeting of the Delta County Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Thursday March 3, 2005, at 9:30 a.m. at the Delta Area Transit Authority Depot for the purpose of touring the Michigan State Police 911 Central Dispatch facility in Negaunee.

ROLL CALL

PRESENT: Commissioners Bengry, and Ruohomaki.

EXCUSED: Commissioners Elegeert, Nelson and Schultz.

Also present: Tom King - Ford River Township Supervisor and President of the Delta County Township Association, Randy Walters - Director of Gladstone Public Safety, Alex Winter - Garden Volunteer Fire Chief and Nancy J. Kolich - Delta County Clerk.

The DATA Bus left the Depot at 9:35 a.m. and made stops at the Gladstone City Hall, Jack’s Restaurant in Rapid River, and Baldwin Township Hall. It arrived at the Negaunee post at 11:25 a.m.

Also in attendance at the presentation were Delta County Sheriff Gary Ballweg, Gregg Johnson – Bark River Township Supervisor, Morgan Tatrow – Garden Township Supervisor and Dan Adams – Bark River Township Fire Chief.

The bus departed the post at 1:25 p.m., stopped for lunch at Applebees in Marquette and arrived at the DATA Depot at 3:50 p.m.
